Apple unveils new iPad Pro models with OLED displays, M2 chip, and Apple Pencil hover
The new iPad Pro models feature Apple's new M2 chip, which offers up to 15% faster performance than the previous-generation chip. They also have OLED displays, which offer better contrast ratios and wider color gamuts than the LCD displays on previous iPad models.
In addition to the M2 chip and OLED displays, the new iPad Pro models also feature Wi-Fi 6E support, 5G connectivity, and support for Apple Pencil hover. The Apple Pencil hover feature allows users to use the Apple Pencil to interact with the iPad Pro display without actually touching it.
The new iPad Pro models are available in 11-inch and 13-inch sizes. The 11-inch model starts at $799, while the 13-inch model starts at $1,099. Both models are available for pre-order today, and they will ship in late October.
